Varca, Cavelossim and Mabor are a trio of the most alluring beaches south of Benaulim.
These beaches are much cleaner and quieter than the majority of the other famous beaches of Goa. There are many beach shacks offering an assortment of Goan dishes and seafood at reasonable prices.
There are many food joints around the grand’Dona Sylvia’ resort offering a splendid repast at sensible prices. There are also centers for Dolphin viewing up the River Sal.
There’s loads of transportation for these shores from Margao. From Cavelossim village, Margao is 18 kms away and buses and autos are available readily.
You could also hire flights from Dabolim Airport (41 — 48 kms) to get to the shore resorts here. To move locally, use scooters and cycles that are available on hire.
The beaches here are home to a number of the very exclusive and luxury hotels in Goa. Accommodation can be available for budget and economy class travelers, although not on the beach itself.
