Poonam! Sharing her soft glow with confidence

Born and brought up in Goa, Poonam had a stint of 7 years in Nagpur where she discovered her identity and made her name in the niche market of the Radio Industry. From starting an Academy in an unknown sphere and land to churning out students and successfully placing them in Radio Industry has been her major achievement.

She says “Seeing our students placed in the various radio stations and witnessing their fan following and success is what gives me a sense of accomplishment. Coming back to Goa and starting fresh was indeed a Herculean task but accepting the challenges that life has to offer, has always been a part of me.”

She now owns the Academy branch in Goa that conducts Personality Grooming and Soft Skills development courses for schools and Colleges and also HR topics for the Corporates.

Simultaneously she also joined back the Junior Chamber International and held several positions, like being the Zone President for Goa, heading Goa and parts of Maharashtra and also in 2018 was the Director for the JCI World Congress, which saw around 3200 National and International delegates in Goa.

She says, being in these positions included a lot of International Travelling,  representing Goa and India, Making Speeches, Making Presentations before the unknowns, seating across lunch tables and discussing, all this added fineness to my learning and I would definitely like to share them.

She believes soft skills are extremely essential to make your Personality impressive and most crucial for a lasting impression. Learning these skills at a young age makes it easier and develops the child’s confidence and self Esteem.

Parents play a very important role in their child’s life and must be a part of this learning so that the child can practice what is learnt and hence here are the courses she offers exclusively for kids and also an interactive session for the parents about the program.
