Patnem shore is found in the South of Goa, near the famous Palolem beach. This beach is all about 42km from Colva and 40km away from Margao that’s the cultural capital of Goa.
When to Move
The sea in Patnem is generally safe to swim in, however it’s crucial to adhere to the directions of the lifeguards since there can occasionally be dangerous undertows which may take a novice swimmer oblivious.
Where to Move
Like the remainder of Goa, the best time to see this shore is in winter months, from October to March, once the nice and cool weather and calm seas create ideal weather for swimming and other beach activities. The summer period from March to June can be superior weather for swimming although it’s quite hot. But since the monsoon strategy in the end of May the seas turned into quite demanding with dangerous undercurrents before the monsoons are completed in September. The Patnem Beach is among the most quiet and beaches of South Goa. Found in Canacona’s city, this beach is a tiny piece of Paradise. The beach is famous for its peacefulness and beauty in addition to the succulent fish that’s offered in the region. You will find fewer amusements in Patnem than in the other shores as the main charm of the beach is its own quiet and isolation. These shacks made from bamboo and coconut palms are well famous for their delicious fish delicacies and genuine Goan cuisine. Additionally, there are stores where you can purchase souvenirs and trinkets, however you will find less of them than you will find in other, more popular beaches.
