In Maharashtra this cool drink is called as kairiche panhe. Kairi means raw mango and panhe refers to drink, so it is called as kairiche panhe.
A big kairi (raw mango), jaggery, half a spoon of salt and a pinch of cardamom powder.
Firstly wash and boil the raw mango. Once it is cool, extract the pulp of mango and remove the seed. The jaggery should be double the amount of the mango pulp. Add jaggery, mango pulp and salt in a mixie and blend it to a smooth paste.
Store this mixture in the fridge. When needed just add chilled water to 2-3 spoon of pulp or as per your taste and mix well. Aam panna is ready serve.
